Meet Amber Wilson
Amber Wilson is a Tampa based makeup artist, hair stylist, spray tanner, and yoga teacher. With over a decades experience in the beauty industry, her goal for all is to bring out the beauty from within. From a young age, art became a huge influence in Amber’s life. Not being allowed to wear makeup fueled her desire to create. At age 15 she knew her calling and began teaching herself. She would use friends as face models, and from there she began getting called upon for proms, pageants, and date nights from her fellow piers. Following her high school graduation, Amber attended accredited school CMC Makeup Academy in Dallas, Texas, where she became certified in beauty makeup, airbrush makeup, character makeup, special effects, hair styling, and spray tanning. Upon returning to her hometown in Arkansas, Amber attended college at Arkansas State University studying business management. While getting her feet in the door professionally working with individual brides and pageant contestants and working with Clinique.
In 2014 Amber relocated to Florida where she worked and began rebuilding her clientele and business in the sunshine state. From assisting in body painting for gallery openings in Sarasota, Florida, to working with Loreal Cosmetics for their yearly Woman of Worth campaign, to working with all of the parades in Tampa, Florida since 2019. Since being in Florida, she worked for Sephora, Lancome, and was a merchandise manager for ULTA Beauty, and a children’s yoga instructor. Along the way she followed another passion of hers and became a certified yoga teacher through Lifetime Athletic in Tampa, Florida. Through that she found the inspiration to rebrand herself and business, and with that, Bella Balanced was born. Bringing her motto of “bringing out the beauty from within” to life. Amber has multiple publications and features of her work. From her Disney brides to her Halloween clientele. She believes there is nothing you cant achieve if you believe in yourself and put in the work it takes.
